Soft Tissue [Petrol Eco Vinyl] (LP)
Tindersticks
The soulful British band Tindersticks follows up its soundtrack for Stars at Noon with a new album, Soft Tissue . Gentle and melancholy, the album offers introspective lyrics and plenty of atmosphere. "New World" kicks off with a blast of horns before sinking into a hypnotic downtempo groove. "Always a Stranger" is a real highlight, contrasting a captivating rhythm with singer Stuart Staples' floating vocals, augmented by horns and strings.
Afterglow [Clear w/Orange Swirl Vinyl] (LP)
Sleep Theory
Sleep Theory debut with one of the most assured debuts of the year. Afterglow is a fierce rallying cry, a heavy album with a bruised, battered, yet still proudly beating heart. The band pushes the metalcore genre forward, writing anthemic, addictive choruses, while striking out into moodier territory via synths and electronic elements. An exciting and electrifying collection of tracks that marks Sleep Theory as one of the most inventive bands in metalcore today.
Hers [Marble Vinyl] (LP)
Matt Maltese
On Hers , Matt Maltese writes wonderfully baroque indie chamber pop. Languid and romantic, the songs call to mind '60s lounge crooners with a fresh, contemporary twist. Swelling strings, gentle piano, and lilting woodwinds add to the dreamy atmospherics while Maltese's velveteen voice draws listeners into his singular world. A gorgeous record that feels like a cult favorite, Hers fits nicely among the works of The Walker Brothers and Burt Bacharach.
I Got Heaven (CD)
Mannequin Pussy
Mannequin Pussy returns with I Got Heaven , a musical showcase of moods, with all of them hitting equally hard in different ways, often within the same song. Singer and guitarist Marisa Dabice bares her soul on the indie-folk track "I Don't Know You," increasing the volume, distortion, and emotion as the song goes on. Conversely, "Ok? Ok! Ok? Ok!" is a chaotic hardcore banger, replete with a tambourine during the breakdown. Brooding and shoegazey one moment, and bludgeoning you over the head in the next, I Got Heaven happily throws the rulebook out the window and does things the Mannequin Pussy way.

Wolf Man (BLU)
Leigh Whannell
Seeking a fresh start, Blake moves his wife Charlotte and daughter Ginger to his childhood home in rural Oregon. Upon arrival, they encounter a brutal animal attack, forcing the family to barricade themselves inside the house as an unseen creature prowls the perimeter. As the night wears on, Blake's injuries worsen, and his bizarre behavior turns monstrous. To protect her daughter, Charlotte must decide whether to confront the danger outside or the growing horror within.
Earcandy [Pink Vinyl] (LP)
Miso Extra
Miso Extra's Earcandy is sugar sweet. The British-Japanese artist creates bouncy dancefloor pop informed by UK garage, K-pop, R&B, and '80s synthpop. These songs exist in a hypercolor world, brighter, more dazzling than our own...Miso calls it the "Misoverse." Earcandy is a stunning, imaginative, and purely fun debut.
South Park: The 25th Anniversary Concert (LP)
Various Artists
The blissfully irreverent, iconoclastic South Park is somehow turning twenty-five. In recognition of this momentous event, Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre played host to a celebratory event that's now being released as South Park: The 25th Anniversary Concert . Over the course of 3 LPs, mayhem and magic ensue as creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone team up with Primus and Ween to perform songs made famous by the animated sitcom. Featuring guest appearances from Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, it's more fun than anyone should have just listening to a record (or three).
Wicked [2024] (BLU)
Jon M. Chu
The screen adaptation of the wildly popular book and musical, Wicked , stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman who has yet to discover her true power, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, who is popular but has yet to discover her true heart. The two meet at Shiz University and forge an unlikely friendship. Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their lives take different paths and they fulfill their destinies as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Blood Ties (CD)
Ricky Warwick
The new solo album from rock veteran Ricky Warwick is straightforward and heartfelt with catchy melodies and plenty of grit. The Almighty's frontman shows no signs of slowing down or losing that rock n 'roll punch to his voice. "Don't Leave Me In The Dark," which features Lita Ford on guest vocals, is soaked in a satisfyingly anthemic '80s pop/rock atmosphere. Warwick also teams up with Billy Duffy for the fiery "The Hell of Me and You," a healthy blast of classic guitar rock. Elsewhere, "The Crickets Stayed in Clovis" is a jangly pub-stomper sure to live rent-free in your head.
Adagio [Pink Vinyl] (LP)
Stella
For Stella Chronopoulou's fifth studio album, the Greek singer/songwriter decided to sing in her native language for the first time on two tracks. That extra touch of authenticity elevates this distinctive artist's sophisticated pop, as evidenced on the infectiously groovy "Omorfo Mou." The title track is lush and laidback with tropical percussion, and "Baby Brazil feat. Las Palabras" (Rafael Cohen of !!!) leans into a Sade vibe, especially on the smooth vocals.
Welcome To The Plains (LP)
Wyatt Flores
Oklahoma’s Wyatt Flores is the latest singer-songwriter to fall into the Red Dirt subgenre of Oklahoman country music. On his full-length debut, Welcome to the Plains , the 23-year old Flores boldly tackles the history and hard life of his home state on tracks like “Little Town,” the title track “Welcome to the Plains,” and the damning “Stillwater,” a lament to those who never left their hometown. Occasionally blurring the lines into a blended rock sound, Welcome to the Plains is firmly rooted in heartfelt, emotional country music.
Evergreen (CD)
Soccer Mommy
Sophie Allison’s fourth album is steeped in a loneliness darker than that of her youth, pairing raw reflections on grief with the most laidback, pastoral music of her career. But the music isn’t about moving on from your grief but rather living in it and facing its truths.
